Generally speaking, Michigan’s expungement statute is governed by MCL 780.621 and allows you to expunge one felony if you have up to two misdemeanors. You must wait at least five years from the imposition of the sentence, completion of probation, discharge from parole or completion of a term of imprisonment, whichever occurs last.
This eligibility test is only valid for convictions that you are looking to expunge in the state of Michigan.
